Game Rules & FAQ
On this page, we are attempting to resolve some
of the potential arguments that are sure to occur during a session
of Playas&Haters. Game rules are merely guidelines so that
everyone playing has the same assumptions. For the expert
players, this will not always be the case. They are bound
to argue over the wording of a certain card and how it can be
played. A good rule of thumb is to simply agree to play the
card the same way, regardless of whether its the correct way or
not. As long as everyone plays the exact same way, there
should be no problem.

Each number corresponds to a number on the Game

1) Shuffle deck and draw five cards.
2) At the beginning of your turn, draw one card.
3) You can only play one card on your turn and that card may be played on your or any other player's side, if possible. However, Butt-Ins can be played at anytime on any turn.
4) Discard down to five cards at the end of your turn.
5) If a card is removed from play, all cards on it must be removed as well.
6) If a card in play that made you gain points is removed, you lose the points.
7) If a card in play that made you lose points is removed, you gain the points.

10) The winner is the player with the most points.
Cards
This next section explains the text of some
cards that may cause arguments. Click on the name of the card
to view the explanation. Again, feel free to ignore this rule
if every player agrees. However, this will be the official
rule used for tournaments so it's a good idea to be familiar with
it.

FAQ
What does just played means?
It means the last card placed on the playing
area. If Rob plays You're Da Daddy
followed by Punked, the last card played
was Punked. If Rob ends his turn
and Prince plays Project Chick, the last
card played was Project
Chick. If Rob then plays Fuck
Dat in response to Project Chick,
the last card played was Fuck
Dat.
What does the
word, remove
means?
When you remove a card, you take it from the
playing area and place it in your discard pile.
How do I resolve
card effects?
Knowing how to resolve card effects is
essential to playing Playas&Haters. You have to know which
card gets resolve first when several are played. The rule is
LIFO, Last In First Out. The last card that is played is the
first that goes into effect.
For example, Rob plays Big B for five points. Prince
counters with Fuck Dat. Rob
responds with Fuck Dat, also. So
what exactly happens? Using LIFO, the last card played was
Rob's Fuck Dat so its the first
out. Rob's Fuck Dat cancels
Prince's Fuck Dat, therefore the Big B is played and the five points is
awarded to Rob.
If a card is cancelled, as in the example
above, the card is considered to have never been
played.
Another example, Rob plays Shoty on his side. Shoty makes anyone hating on him lose 1
point. If Fuck Dat is played by
Prince against Shoty, then Prince
should lose 1 point for hating. However, if Rob counters with
Nigga Please, then Prince's Fuck Dat is cancelled. Since it is
considered to never have been played, Prince does not lose 1
point.
